Canadian-American journalist and famed 60 Minutes correspondent Morley Safer announced Wednesday that he will retire after 46 years in the business. CBS will celebrate his lengthy broadcast career Sunday evening with a post-60 Minutes special, titled Morley Safer: A Reporter’s Life and featuring interviews with historians, colleagues, past interview subjects, and Safer himself.
