Mosques in multiple U.S. states are receiving threatening letters originating in California in which Muslims are told to leave the U.S. or face a Holocaust-like genocide. The letters, addressed to the “children of Satan,” have been sent to mosques in California, Ohio, Michigan, Rhode Island, Indiana, Colorado, and Georgia. Los Angeles police officials are investigating the letters, which specifically mention President-elect Donald Trump and call Muslims “vile and filthy people.” The FBI says the letters are not worth investigating thus far because they do not contain specific threats.
