Mueller Team to Interview White House Communications Director Hope Hicks

White House communications director Hope Hicks is set to be interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller’s team in mid-November, CNN reports. A White House official told the network that Mueller’s team hopes to complete interviews with Hicks and other White House staffers before Thanksgiving. Hicks has worked for President Donald Trump as a top aide on his presidential campaign, before which she worked him at the Trump Organization. Mueller’s probe handed down its first indictments this week against Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, and former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to a charge of lying to the FBI.
