Police in Montreal have discovered what they call a “grisly” crime scene at the apartment of Luka Rocco Magnotta, who is being sought in connection with the body parts that have popped up in Canadian mail. Magnotta, who has worked in gay porn and does not have a criminal record, allegedly stabbed a man to death and then dismembered the body, sending a foot to the headquarters of Canada's Conservative Party. Police found the man's torso in an apartment building on Tuesday, though they aren't releasing the victim's name. Law enforcement officials found a severed hand in a bloody package at a Canada Post terminal Wednesday. It's one of the most gruesome cases the Montreal police have worked on in years, officials say, and the motive for the killing remains uncertain.
