Seoul officials said on Monday North Korea has sent an estimated 1 million propaganda leaflets by balloon into South Korea. Tensions have escalated since Pyongyang claimed it had tested a hydrogen bomb on Jan. 6. Seoul had been blaring anti-North propaganda and K-pop songs from loudspeakers near the border, to which Pyongyang responded by sending the anti-South leaflets, officials said.
