It was a week of Ryan Lochte’s Speedos, Lady Gaga’s confusing fur choices, and Naomi Campbell being fabulous. See our fashion highs and lows of the week.

Naomi Campbell rarely flubs. At a dinner she hosted in London on Thursday in honor of the British Olympics team (where, see left, they were watching the track & field events on flat-screen TVs) she looked flawless, and very much recovered from the terrible picture of her receding hairline that made the rounds on the Web on Thursday.

It’s always exciting when a virtual unknown finds her way to a red carpet and ends up impressing everyone. That’s what happened with Lizzy Caplan, star of Bachelorette, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival on Monday. She wore a gathered green Issa London dress and Brian Atwood sandals. Bravas all around.

Madge sticks to certain themes, through thick and thin: lace, chains, thigh highs, fingerless gloves. And at some point, somebody’s just got to say, “Enough.”

Ryan Lochte makes our worst-dressed list this week for his all-around, consistently offensive personal style, which includes grills, eccentric Speedos, and sparkling green things with the word “Jeah” embroidered on them.
