NATO admitted Saturday to accidentally bombing a line of vehicles belonging to Libya’s opposition, apologizing for the mistake and expressing regret for “any possible loss of life or injuries.” The alliance would not say how many casualties may have occurred during the incident. It’s not the first time NATO has turned its airstrikes against the rebels, and the rebels have recently complained that the strikes have not been as effective in fighting against Gaddafi’s loyalists as they had hoped. NATO continued to bombard the Libyan capital, Tripoli, on Saturday.
