The relentless NATO attack on Libya continues, with “intensive continuous bombardment” of locations in Tripoli, according to Libyan State TV, which said bombs targeted Muammar Gaddafi’s massive Bab al-Azizia compound as well as the barracks of a loyalist guard unit and the TV network itself. NATO denied that it had targeted the station, but confirmed its airstrikes had targeted the embattled leader’s compound. The number of casualties was disputed, as Libyan loyalists have frequently claimed high civilian casualties—only to be rebutted by doctors at Gaddafi’s own hospitals.
