According to the New York Daily News, former New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith has been accused of choking a 19-year-old high school student in Manhattan in response to the young man’s taunting about a recent trade. Smith has not been arrested, but the teenager, identified as Justin Brown of Harlem, told cops that Smith held him with his hands around Brown’s neck, up against the wall of a building. Cell phone video reportedly shows Smith walking away afterward.
