The NCAA announced Monday it would relocate seven championship events set to be held North Carolina to protest the passage of the state’s House Bill 2 (HB2), which requires people to use public bathrooms that match their birth gender and limits cities from passing anti-LGBT discrimination laws. The championships include women’s soccer, men’s basketball and women’s lacrosse among others.
