NCAA Restores 111 Penn State Wins

The NCAA has agreed to restore 111 Penn State football wins under the late Joe Paterno, which makes him the winningest coach in college football history. The original NCAA decision, which stripped him of his title and fined the university $60 million, stemmed from ex-assistant coach Jerry Sandusky's rape of children and the program's unwillingness to stop him. The new NCAA decision also restructured the fine, allotting the total $60 million to “activities and programs for the prevention of child sexual abuse and the treatment of victims of child sexual abuse.”
