Neil Patrick Harris will make his debut as a film director with the indie romance comedy Aaron and Sarah, which will star Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson. The How I Met Your Mother star has directed television and theater. The movie follows the relationship of a dorky guy and a popular girl who become BFFs freshman year of high school and then go through four proms and a funeral. Rogue Pictures bought the film several years ago before Fox 2000 picked it up.
