Andriod phone owners got a nice surprise Saturday when the Netflix app automatically updated, and now will work on the 2.2 and 2.3 models. The update will make the Netflix app available to the 80 percent of Android phones that run either 2.2 or 2.3. But diehards shouldn’t get too excited: the new version of the app, Netflix 1.4, will not allow Netflix to work on Android tablets which run the latest version of Google’s OS.
