If you already have an iPhone 4, then you know what the new iPhone 4S looks and feels like. Apple’s new phone is all about the software—in particular, the voice-controlled “personal assistant,” Siri. “If I wasn’t blown away during Scott Forstall’s presentation on stage, [a hands-on demo] definitely changed my mind,” Joshua Topolsky writes at ThisIsMyNext. The best part is that Siri works with logic and context, so if you set an alarm and say “Change my alarm,” it knows what you’re talking about. Topolsky’s colleague, Paul Miller, points out two potential problems: one, Apple’s choice to only make it available on the iPhone 4s instead of other models as well, and two, Siri’s inability to receive text input.
