New Ray Rice Video Shows Couple in Cuffs

A new, 45-minute long surveillance tape video obtained by ABC News shows former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his now-wife Janay Palmer in the minutes after he punched her in an Atlantic City elevator in February. Palmer (her last name now is Rice) is shown distraught and unwilling to talk to Rice. He attempts approaching her immediately after the incident but she pushes him away, backed up by hotel security. Palmer then goes through what ABC calls an “emotional evolution”: “Almost immediately after the assault, she appears angry. Soon after, Palmer begins to cry. And by the time she and Rice are both escorted into an elevator—handcuffed—she appears to kiss and nuzzle the one-time NFL star.”
