This one’s not just for kids: a new show of Maurice Sendak’s illustrations at Philadelphia’s Rosenbach Museum of Art. “A Sendakian Sampler: Drawings from A to Z.,” offers a definitive look at Sendak’s writings and drawings. The show is divided into 26 themes, organized alphabetically. There’s even a Sendak Gallery, as the illustrator was a long-time friend and supporter of the museum. And through wandering their rooms of “Sendakiana,” one might just relive the childlike curiosity of reading Where The Wild Things Are.
