New Wonder Woman Named

In the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film by Zak Snyder, Israeli actress Gal Gadot has been cast as the iconic Wonder Women. Gadot, from the Fast and Furious movies, is relatively unknown compared to her co-stars Ben Affleck (who will play Batman) and Henry Cavill (who will again play Superman). That there even would be a Wonder Woman character was kept secret until Wednesday. For years there has been a significant amount of discontent over the fact that while Hollywood has produced endless amounts of blockbusters with male superheroes over the past decade, none have featured a prominent female lead.
