New York Village Keeps Racist Sign

Residents in Whitesboro, New York voted in favor of keeping their town sign on Tuesday after an online campaign launched earlier in the week, called it racist. The image depicts a white man appearing to throttle a Native American man on his way to the ground. Supporters allege the image is a celebration of their settlement of the area.
