Newt Gingrich is reportedly set to return to Fox News on August 1, according to The Hill. The cable-news network suspended his contract earlier this month to avoid a conflict of interest as he was being considered for Donald Trump’s vice-presidential slot. The 73-year-old former House Speaker appeared on Fox’s competitors in the intervening weeks but will reportedly resume his exclusivity next month.
