After being announced as contenders in the upcoming Super Bowl, the New England Patriots are allegedly under investigation by the NFL for using intentionally deflated balls during the AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts who suffered a 45-7 loss. The lighter footballs would have made it easier for quarterback Tom Brady to throw the ball and the receivers to catch it. The Patriots have a history of cheating accusations, including illegally videotaping their opponents.
