The National Football League confirmed Monday that the jersey worn by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady at this year’s Super Bowl has been recovered. Brian McCarthy, a public-relations representative for the league, said the 2017 jersey as well as the one Brady wore during Super Bowl XLIX in 2015 were “found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media.” The FBI and other law-enforcement agencies were involved in the search and subsequent investigation after the jersey went missing from the locker room following last month’s game in which the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 34-28.
