Japanese police have reportedly arrested a man after finding nine heads and various body parts inside his apartment outside Tokyo on Tuesday. Local media reports have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Takahiro Shiraishi, who was living in the suburb of Zama. The remains of eight women and one man were reportedly discovered. Public broadcaster NHK cited Shiraishi as telling police, “I killed them and did some work on the bodies in order to hide the evidence.” The flesh on all of the bodies had allegedly been cut off and discarded.
