Sorry, Apple fans. Apple blogger Jim Dalrymple killed buzz about the company’s summer conference, saying there will be no iPhone, iPad, or Mac hardware unveiled. Apple traditionally debuts new iPhones at its annual software conference, but this year they will be showing off nothing but software. “At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS,” said Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss.” The company will likely give details on the next generation of Apple’s operating systems, including cloud-based features in its mobile operating system, iOS 5.
