Republicans in the North Carolina General Assembly introduced and passed a bill Wednesday that would repeal any and all local LGBT non-discrimination ordinances in the state and restrict transgender people from using certain bathrooms. The bill was signed by Gov. Pat McCrory around 10 p.m. local time.
