After the week's deluge of news had pushed it out of the spotlight, North Korea made sure to remind the world of its existence, Saturday, and clarify that it has no plans to let go of its nuclear weapons. An end to the hostility from North Korea looked like it was almost in sight earlier this week, as Pyongyang agreed to talk on several conditions, one of which was the lifting of U.N. sanctions. But the U.S. said it wouldn't agree to anything until North Korea got serious about stopping its nuclear plans--which it is most certainly not. "The U.S. should not think about the denuclearization on the peninsula before the world is denuclearized," North Korea's state-run newspaper said. "There may be talks between the [North] and the U.S. for disarmament but no talks on denuclearization."
