Northwestern University won its first NCAA tournament game in the school's history on Thursday after making the tournament for the first time ever. The Wildcats narrowly defeated Vanderbilt 68-66 in the first round and will play the top-seeded Gonzaga next in the Round of 32. Northwestern's Bryant McIntosh scored a game-high 25 points, hitting 10 of 16 shots from the field. Northwestern is a No. 8 seed in the tournament.
