Norway’s prime minister, Jens Stoltenberg, led his nation in mourning Sunday as the country marked a year since two brutal attacks that left 77 people dead. “The killed failed; the people have won,” Stolternberg said of the massacre by confessed killed Anders Behring Breivik, who remains on trial. The killings included an attack on Norwegian activist youth at a summer camp on the island of Utøya. “It’s been a very heavy year for all of us,” Stoltenberg said at an Oslo ceremony. “Not a day has passed that tragedy has not filled the room.”
