NYU Prof Quits After Lara Logan Tweets

Twitter has claimed another victim—but this time it's a journalist and not a despot. Nir Rosen, a journalist and fellow at New York University, responded dismissively to news last night that CBS reporter Lara Logan had been beaten and sexually assaulted while reporting in Cairo, suggesting on Twitter that thousands of other women were groped, too, and that she just wanted "to outdo Anderson [Cooper]." Rosen removed the tweets and has also resigned from NYU's Center for Law and Justice, where he was a fellow.
