Obama Ads Target Seniors, Soldiers

President Obama’s campaign is attempting to woo seniors and veterans with simultaneous ads. One boasts Obama’s dedication to Medicare and cracking down on fraud. “To you and your loved ones, Medicare is personal,” the ad’s narrator says over an image of Obama and his grandparents. “And to a president raised by his grandparents, it’s personal too.” The other shows Obama praising the “sacrifices that our troops have made” and insisting that we need to do “everything we can to heal all of their wounds, giving them the opportunities that they deserve to find a job and get the education they need.”
