President Obama worked the crowd at the Iowa State Fair Monday, buying beers for cheerful Iowans and gobbling pork chops on a stick. Before Ground Force One, his campaign bus, pulled up to the fairgrounds and Obama jumped out declaring "Let's go to the fair," Paul Ryan told a raucus crowd that he'd heard the President wasn't going to show up for the annual event.
