Obama Calls for Quick Replacement

Can Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens’ shoes be filled? President Obama said Friday that he wants to find a new Supreme Court justice with “similar qualities” to Stevens, who announced he would soon be stepping down from the bench on Friday. "I will move quickly to name a nominee, as I did with Justice Sotomayor,” Obama said and he urged the Senate to confirm his choice in time for the fall Supreme Court term.
