Obama Comments on Biden Remarks

Shackles, smackles. In an interview with People Wednesday, President Obama says he’s not concerned about the controversial remark made by Vice President Biden in Virginia. Obama says he won’t be scolding Biden for the “put ya’ll back in chains” remark, because he knows it was in reference to Romney’s policies, not slavery. “In no sense was he trying to connote something other than that,” Obama said. “The truth is that during the course of these campaigns, folks like to get obsessed with how something was phrased even if everybody personally understands that’s not how it was meant.”
