Obama Defends Health-care Mess

Talking to a crowd of 150 volunteers, President Obama promised the administration will fix the problems with health-care reform, telling the audience, “We’re on the right side of history.” While he conveyed his disappointments, he also condemned states like Texas, which refused the Medicaid expansion, for hurting the overall process by leaving more people uninsured. On Wednesday, the president also met with vulnerable Democratic senators to listen to their dissatisfaction and reassure them.
