The White House has delayed imposing sanctions on companies and individuals with ties to Iran’s ballistic-missile program, The Wall Street Journal reported. News broke days ago that Obama’s administration was getting ready to sanction those in Iran, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates that helped develop Iran’s ballistic-missile program. The move was reportedly to be announced this week, leading President Hassan Rouhani to order Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan to expand the program as a response.
On Friday, the Revolutionary Guards' second-in-command, Brigadier General Hossein Salami, reportedly said, "As long as the United States supports Israel we will expand our missile capabilities."
