Panic in the Democratic Party has reached the highest echelon: President Obama will head to Massachusetts on Sunday to campaign for Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley. Democrats are supremely worried about Coakley’s prospects to hold on to Ted Kennedy’s seat, which the party has held since the 1950s. If Coakley loses, then Democrats lose their 60-seat majority in the Senate, likely meaning the end of health-care reform.
