Mazel tov! During a ceremony at the White House Tuesday afternoon, President Obama gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest non-military award, to former President George H.W. Bush, investor Warren Buffett, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and twelve others. Maya Angelou and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were also honored. But Bush was the star of the show: Obama spotlighted his "service to America that spanned nearly 70 years."
