Opposition researcher James Carter—the man responsible for the now infamous fundraising video of Mitt Romney abhorring the so-called 47 percent of Americans who are dependent upon government—was greeted with a huge thanks from President Obama backstage at an education event Thursday in Decatur, Georgia. Carter’s cousin is Georgia state Sen. Jason Carter. Fun fact: the two are both grandsons of former president Jimmy Carter.
