During a speech at American University on Wednesday, President Obama said many supporters of the U.S. invasion of Iraq are now rejecting the Iran nuclear deal and risking another war in the Middle East. Obama also urged a shift away from foreign policies “characterized by a preference for military action over diplomacy.” “I am not saying this to be provocative,” Obama said. “I am stating a fact.… The choice we face is ultimately between diplomacy and some form of war, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not three months from now, but soon.”
