Obama Takes On Income Inequality

Mitt Romney will have to get over his hangup about discussing income inequality outside "quiet rooms" if he's going to have a chance against Barack Obama in the coming presidential debates. While Romney has expressed his view that this topic has no place in political discussions, the president has adopted it as a central theme of his reelection campaign. "We can't go back to the type of policies that exacerbated the rise in inequality and threatened economic mobility in the first place if we want an economy that builds the middle class," delcared the chairman of Obama's Council of Economic Advisers at a D.C. think tank Thursday.
