Wednesday marked the moment immigration reform advocates have been waiting for: President Obama said will use executive action to potentially legalize millions of undocumented people. Obama said he'd take “whatever lawful actions” he could on immigration “before the end of the year." Obama had promised as much prior to the midterms, and now apparently he's making good on it. Despite reiterating his preference for lawmakers to put aside their differences and pass a reform bill, Obama said, “What I’m not going to do is just wait. I think it’s fair to say that I’ve shown a lot of patience and have tried to work on a bipartisan basis as much as possible.”
