A new study says states that have embraced the Obamacare Medicaid expansion saw a 23 percent rise in new diabetes cases in the first half of 2014, suggesting that increased screening helps catch the chronic condition early. Those states that did not expand Medicaid, meanwhile, only saw a jump of 0.4 percent—alarming numbers when estimates say a third of U.S. diabetes cases remain undiagnosed.
