Can president strike right tone?

Obama campaigned on hope, but now that he's in office, he's finding a different emotion spreading through the American public: anger. With the American people seething over Wall Street's errors, "Obama has searched for the right tone for taking the transgressors to task while not crossing into glib point-scoring that could spook the business class," The Washington Post reports. "And his indignation has ratcheted upward in recent weeks. He made passing mention at his inauguration of 'greed and irresponsibility,' then declared last week that the Wall Street bonuses were 'shameful.'" He must be careful, however, how he channels this anger for, as he learned with Tom Daschle, it can easily turn against him.
