Occupy Wall Street Losing Popularity

The tide of public opinion appears to be turning against Occupy Wall Street. A new national survey from Public Policy Polling finds that support for the protesters has dropped over the last month. The poll found that 33 percent supported the goals of the Occupy movement and 45 percent opposed them; in a poll from one month ago, 35 percent supported the protests and 36 percent were opposed. When asked whether they had a higher opinion of Occupy Wall Street or the Tea Party, 43 percent favored the Tea Party and 37 supported Occupy.
