Will you miss her after Tuesday? Christine O’Donnell was the most covered candidate of the 2010 election, according to research from the Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism. She was followed by Meg Whitman, Rand Paul, Joe Sestak, Sharron Angle, and Harry Reid. O’Donnell was the “lead newsmaker”—meaning she was featured in more than half the story—in 160 stories, most of which appeared in the last two months. The Pew survey looked at broadcast networks, cable news networks, online publications, newspapers, and talk radio.
