A Columbus, Ohio man has been arrested for allegedly providing material support to ISIS. Aaron Daniels, 20, was detained Monday while trying to leave for Libya, where he planned to join ISIS, a federal prosecutor announced in a statement. Daniels allegedly donated $250 to an ISIS fighter in January, and set up social media profiles where he solicited money to travel to Syria and Afghanistan. On those profiles, Daniels allegedly expressed an interest in jihad. He purchased plane tickets to travel to Houston, where he allegedly told an undercover investigator that he would buy tickets to Trinidad for a brief stop before going to Libya. If convicted, Daniels faces up to 20 years in prison.
