Police in Ohio say they have accounted for all 56 exotic animals that escaped a private zoo after their owner opened their cages. That mostly means dead, as only a grizzly bear, two monkeys, and three leopards survived. The other animals—18 tigers, 17 lions, 6 black bears, 3 mountain lions, 2 grizzly bears, 2 wolves, and a baboon—were all killed, and a monkey was found dead. The animals' owner, Terry Thompson, shot himself after he released them. The six surviving animals were taken to the Columbus Zoo.
