Oprah Met With Racism in Switzerland

Fresh off the announcement that several Swiss towns are going to start banning refugees from public places and see to it that they are kept far away from the rest of society, none other than Oprah Winfrey has come forward to confirm that, yes, racism is an issue in Switzerland. The African-American media mogul, and one of the richest women in the world, was in Zurich recently for Tina Turner’s wedding when she decided to go shopping. But when she asked a shop attendant to show her a bag, she was told it was “too expensive” and encouraged to check out the store’s cheaper merchandise. Does this sales clerk live under a rock or what? Sure, Oprah might not have had her fake eyelashes on at the time, “but I was in full Oprah Winfrey gear,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “But obviously The Oprah Winfrey Show is not shown in Zurich.”
