Oprah’s Network Reboots Already

Television

New push after dismal start.

Not everything Oprah touches turns to gold: Her television network OWN is getting a “reboot” after just two months. "We're doing a lot of changes to the schedule,” a spokesman tells the New York Post, and the network will also invest in new advertising to draw viewers. The network’s only hit so far, Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes, will move from Fridays to Sundays while reality shows featuring Wynonna Judd, Sarah Ferguson, and Shania Twain will soon appear. OWN’s ratings have sometimes clocked in lower than those of the network it replaced, Discovery Health.
