One Oscar-winning rapper doesn't buy the #OscarsSoWhite controversy alleging the Academy Awards are biased against minority actors and filmmakers. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the founding member of rap group Three 6 Mafia—who performed at the 2006 Academy Awards and won the "Best Original Song" prize for their track "Hard Out Here for a Pimp"—said: "I don't think the Oscars is racist or whatever the hell they're saying. Because if the Oscars were racist, they wouldn't have given this to three black gangsta rappers—for a song about pimping. There's no getting blacker than that."
