After reports of messaging apps cutting into the market share of Facebook and other service providers, The New York Times is reporting that Google’s dominance of the search industry may face a big challenge in the mobile market. Specialized sites, like Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Amazon, are making gains on Google’s supremacy, as users prefer their specificity in the increasingly cluttered Internet.
